Pillnitz Palace

Your tour guide will escort you to August the Strong’s paradise using your coach, public transport, or even a steam boat. Situated in delightful surroundings, Pillnitz Palace is a masterpiece of finest baroque architecture. The surrounding park is full of surprises for horticulturally interested visitors: exotic trees, pavillions, the palm tree house, and not to forget the Pillnitz camellia. 240 years old and originally from East Asia, the tree has reached a hight that is incredibly unusual for the local climate. It usually blooms from February to April. During the tour through the palace park you will see all the highlights and learn a lot.

Please note: The tour through the palace park lasts 1 to 1.5 hours. There are currently plans to introduce an entrance fee of approximately €2 per person for the park (January 2012). Any entrance fees are not included in the tour price and will have to be paid locally.
